Match Reports (Current Season)

14th October 2017

Ladies 1s

L1s had an eventful game at home against Canterbury (that’s Canterbury not Cambridge Uzair Pandor!). Obviously I’m going to get this in the wrong order but the game involved:
Us starting really well but going 0-2 down
Lucy Butcher missing her first reverse stick attempt but made up for it with the second; top corner boom!
Katherine Abbie finishing off a lovely team move with a bit of a cricket shot
So us coming back to 2-2, hooray!
Fish getting a green card and then getting it upgraded to a yellow
Katrina Hurrell getting a green card
Lucy relieved the own goal rule changed as she put one past Mog
Mog saving a flick and several other fab saves
Katherine living up to her reputation of falling over (back on form!)
Me passing to no one and off the side, sorry about that!
They got 2 more so ended with a 2-4 loss

Hmm anything else team?
Oh Nicky Haden-Homer winning the who can eat the most sausages prize – presume you’re having them for dinner too!?
Philippa Leguen De Lacroix back to her one liner best – money laundering (you had to be there)
