We are going up, say we are going up!

We were two points behind east London this morning, but we had a game in hand. Thurrock turned up wanting to ruin our day. They had a good go by scoring a lucky goal after twenty minutes. Twenty minutes in which we dominated.

James Price returning from uni got us back even though. Then Tom Lowe tried to claim one off a flick from a short that their defender deflected in. Anyway 2-1 up at halftime.

We tore them apart second half, inspired by Alec Zetter on the sidelines. We ended up 6-1 winners thanks to a great team performance and goals from Imran Arshad, another from Tom and pricey and a surprise from a man who should never be that far up the pitch, Matt O’Hara.

Jonathan Jones our new captain got a well-deserved pop for missing from two yards. Do the threes have a skipper yet?

Chap proved himself as the best left back in the club whilst Mark Terris, the first team left back, spent one minute out of position in midfield. Mom to chap. Not sure what that makes Mobo.
