Join a great London hockey club

Welcome to Waltham Forest Hockey Club, the most sociable and friendly hockey club in London and England Hockey’s Club of the Season, 2013!

Our hockey club is located in north east London in the borough of Waltham Forest. The club has six men’s and five ladies’ teams, a mixed team, a large youth section and Forest Flyerz, a leading disability hockey programme.

We offer hockey for a wide range of standards so you’ll fit right in whether you are a dedicated, seasoned pro or have never even held a stick. Our Saturday league teams play in the East of England and Essex Leagues, while we also enter various EHB tournaments. For those new to the game, the club has run a completely free beginners’ hockey course every year with the most recent run in May and plans under way for the next.

Our youth section is all about inclusiveness. We run a number of free sessions during the week that appeal to kids of various abilities.

Our Forest Flyerz is the first disability hockey programme in the country and caters for anyone with a learning or physical disability.

We are a fantastic club, full of friendly people playing both competitive and fun hockey. So come on down to a training session or drop us a line – we would love to see you on the pitch.

How to join

At Waltham Forest HC we pride ourselves on being an extremely friendly club so you can be assured of a warm welcome.

The best way to get involved is to come to a training session and see for yourself what we are all about. You can train with us completely free of charge for three weeks, giving you plenty of time to decide before having to make any commitment.
