Ladies 2s
L2s lost 3-2 against Brentwood today….highlights were some lovely 1-2s, Kirsty’s great run ending in a goal and generally all stepping it up in the 2nd half. A win IS coming. POM: Kate Rebecca Sampson DOD: D for a crashingly loud stick tackle.

Ladies 4s
Was very proud of the Ladies 4s today! It was 0-0 at Redbridge we all played really well and enjoyed ourselves! We deserved a goal or two but next time😊Mel was a well deserved player of the match! Onwards and upwards 🏑🏑
Men’s 1s
Mens 1s had a double header this weekend. We won one and drew one. That’s pretty good. Bit tired now tho. I’ll keep it brief.
Saturday v Ipswich – James Price got the only goal of the game with a composed finish after good work by Liam Radley. Excellent team performance in general.
Sunday v Cambridge Uni 2s – bit of a different flavour to this one. Played against a squad of 16 – hard to believe that team hadn’t won a game all season. Couldn’t quite hold onto a 2 goal lead and finished 5-5.,

Otters
Yet again a great performance from the Otters as a third successive win came in beating a decent Chelmsford side 3-1. We started brightly, with flowing hockey and plenty of numbers in the D unsettling the Chelmsford defence and Mohad put 2 chances away. Chelmsford came back into the game, and scored from a short corner before a superb counter-attack on the stroke of half-time was expertly finished by Man of the Match, Mohad, to complete his hat-trick. The second half was evenly contested, and our inexperienced defence, with Matthew Bucknall composed on debut, comfortably dealt with the opposition threat.
