Ladies 1s played at home today in the glorious sunshine!! We had some much appreciated support from Shrimpie, Hannah and Ray too!

We’ve been playing some really great hockey recently but haven’t managed to get the results we’ve needed so a lot was resting on today. To cut a long story short WE WON 1-0!!!!

We scored a goal from open play,which is very rare, I managed to swing and actually hit the ball on that occasion…it became very difficult for me after that apparently!

Lots of the man of the match votes across the team as everyone played so well! Amy won it with 4 votes.

I won DoD! (I cried because we won!)

Otters

The Otters match with Old Southendians saw plenty of chances at both ends but was heading towards a goalless draw with a couple of minutes to go when Mohad produced a calm finish for a dramatic late winner as we held on for a 1-0 win.
