Hello from WFHC!
We play competitive yet fun field hockey all over London
and East England. Based in Walthamstow - league matches are on Saturdays,
mixed on Sundays, and summer matches in the evenings during the week.
Waltham
Forest is a friendly field hockey club in North East London with 4
men's and 4 women's hockey teams, as well as a mixed side and a youth
section.
We train every week on Tuesdays (ladies), Wednesdays (men) 8.00pm
to 10pm.
Interested in
joining? Come along to any training session
during the season (Sept to March). As a newbie it's free to train
for 3 sessions before you decide to join.
Youth player? It's
FREE! Training on Tuesday evenings, 7-8pm. Tournaments throughout
the year on Sundays.

Our 4 men's teams play in the East League: Divs 1, 4SE, 6SE and 9SE.
Our 4 women's teams play in the East League Div 1S and East 2S, and
Essex league Div 2 and Div 4.
In addition, we have a mixed side for league
& friendlies, and also enter mens, ladies and mixed teams into
national and international tournaments.

are a very friendly field hockey club, so you can be assured of a very
warm welcome.
If you are interested in joining, simply come along to training on a Tuesday
or Wednesday evening and get stuck in!

From 8.00pm til 10pm
Training generally begins from the first week of Sept and runs until end
March each year.
Training takes place on the Astroturf at Walthamstow Academy, Billet Road,
Walthamstow.
If you've missed the season, don't worry - we play matches in the summer
too, we just don't train! :)

Hockey
League - mens, womens and mixed field hockey in London:
The
Leagues run from mid-September to the end of March.
But the hockey never ends with hockey festivals, hockey tournaments, summer
hockey leagues, friendlies
and many social events continue throughout the summer months.
We
also have a very fun, very social mixed league hockey team.
Home matches take place on the Astro pitches at Walthamstow Academy, Billet
Road, Walthamstow E17 5DP
and also at Peter May, Wadham Rd, and Douglas Eyre, Coppermill Lane, Walthamstow.
Away hockey matches take place all over North and East London, as well
as in Essex and Suffolk.
